Biography of Alicia Young

    

          Alicia Young is an inspiring artist Living in Victoria, B.C.

     She was born in Missoula Montana before teaching throughout the Pacific Northwest.

    Alicia has lived in Canada for the past thirty years.

    Her first teacher was Peggy Packard, a well known artist, in Victoria, B.C.

    Alicia’s approach to sculpting is open-ended and ever evolving. Her work

    ranges from the human form to water fountains, garden accesseries, dancing stars,

    and contented sunbursts.She has an extensive background in teaching.

    She emphasises the process of sculpting as well as teaching the techniques.
